I have come across an incident that changed a fruit distributor’s business communication management system. The Delhi based fruits vendor Kamal Nahate could change his communication and mail management process by opting for a digital note taker.
Kums Nahate, 52, is into fruits business. He procures fruits from Nagpur and redistributes it from Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi to different locations in India and Gulf countries. He operates from a shop from first floor of fruits market in Azadpur with a thin staffs. His staffs were mostly busy with accounting and logistics. Nahate, who also manages his business correspondence, was facing problem in handling emails.
Most of times, he spends time till late night for drafting his letters and mailing it to different parties. It was really time killing. “One day I saw one of my distributors using a small device while drafting an agreement related to our fruits distribution term and conditions. He then captured all his hand writing into a word file on his laptop in front of me. I liked the way he was doing and followed it for mails. I also wrote a letter and convert my hand writing into text on his laptop. It all happened smoothly. Later, I copied these texts and send a mail to my distributor. I have been using a digital pen since then. I have saved time. Now business communication has turned easier for me.”, Nahate explains. Nahate has been a happy user of digital pen for long time.
A digital pen plays important role in a business-day in Nahate’s shop. Now a day, he writes everything with a digital pen and saves it on his PC later. It may be related to his business, purchase, accounts, inventory or replies of his incoming mails or general mails.
